Job Requirements:
- At least 18 years progressive work experience within a hotel’s engineering or department, the last 5 years in a senior management or leadership position and at least 1 pre-opening experience of a resort or hotel.
- Must have proven leadership experience in a hotel’s engineering operations.
- Experience in budget management, an advantage.
- Strong background in project planning and able to prioritize projects / tasks.
- Successful in creating an excellent team around the company’s core values.
- Strong self-sufficiency standards with PC working from varied bases.
Key Performance Indicators
- Property EBITA (Gatekeeper)
- Return on Capital employed
- OEI Targets (Unifocus and Peer Review)
- Departmental Profit or not to exceed budgeted costs
- Successful execution of contractual requirements / Third party contract management
- Utility cost containment
- To ensure the FCS targets of Maintenance are met and exceed for both Guest and Back of House areas
- ZERO accidents / fatalities
