5 Stars Hotel : Vice President of Engineering and Facilities

Job Requirements:
  • At least 18 years progressive work experience within a hotel’s engineering or department, the last 5 years in a senior management or leadership position and at least 1 pre-opening experience of a resort or hotel.
  • Must have proven leadership experience in a hotel’s engineering operations.
  • Experience in budget management, an advantage.
  • Strong background in project planning and able to prioritize projects / tasks.
  • Successful in creating an excellent team around the company’s core values.
  • Strong self-sufficiency standards with PC working from varied bases.
 
Key Performance Indicators
  • Property EBITA (Gatekeeper)
  • Return on Capital employed
  • OEI Targets (Unifocus and Peer Review)
  • Departmental Profit or not to exceed budgeted costs
  • Successful execution of contractual requirements / Third party contract management
  • Utility cost containment
  • To ensure the FCS targets of Maintenance are met and exceed for both Guest and Back of House areas
  • ZERO accidents / fatalities
